Season 8 · MechaLeague
How It Works & Points
MechaLeague is a season-long Mechabellum competition based on your tournament finishes. Play the circuit all season, and the standings decide who plays the finale.
The circuit runs to Saturday, August 22, 2026. The season then ends in one event: the Titan Cup, Sunday, August 30, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET — 32 players, single elimination, for $460 in cash prizes plus in-game support.
How it works
Play the circuit.
Every tournament you finish banks Circuit Points and moves you up the live board. The circuit closes Saturday, August 22.
Get selected into the 32.
Four buckets fill the finale field — the top 16, region representatives, the rookie ladder, and a random draw from everyone who qualified.
Play the finale.
Sunday, August 30. One bracket, single elimination, best of three. Win five rounds and you're the Titan.
How the {total} are chosen
The field fills in this order. Anyone already selected is skipped, so a freed slot cascades down to the next bucket.
- 16
The top 16
The top sixteen on circuit points when the season closes. They take seeds 1 through 16.
- 0–5
Region representatives
A region's leader gets a seat when they haven't already made the top 16 — so every region has a voice in the bracket. If all five leaders are already in, this bucket stays empty and the seats cascade down.
- 3
Rookie seats
The top three on the rookie ladder. Eligible if at least 75% of your entries are in Rookie divisions, with a minimum of two rookie events, ranked by bracket wins first.
- ⁂
Random draw
Everything still open is drawn at random from the qualified pool on Wednesday, August 26, once registration closes.

Earn Circuit Points
Every tournament counts. Every event you finish banks Circuit Points toward your season total.
Finishers only.
You're scored if you reach the second-to-last round or better. That way players auto-culled right before the final still count. Bail earlier and that event scores you nothing. We then strip the non-finishers and re-rank the rest, so placement is by true finish, not by the in-game screen that lists quitters by their win count.
Bigger events, bigger points.
We weight every result by the prestige of the event.

The fine print
How you enter.
You don't, it's automatic. The board builds itself from public tournament results, so the moment you play a qualifying tournament, you're on it. No signup, no opt-in.
No opt out.
We're simply tabulating public data, the same results anyone can already see, so there's nothing of yours to pull down.
Registering for the finale
Every selected player must register through the finale form before it closes on Wednesday, August 26 at 11:59 PM ET. This applies to every seat, top seeds included — a seed is not a seat until you register. Any player may submit the form; eligibility is confirmed against the final standings.
Finishers only.
We only score and qualify tournament finishers — see the Earn Circuit Points section above.
No smurfing.
We believe smurfs are a dead end under our rules, but anyone caught trying to game the system with multiple accounts will be disqualified from our season finales.
Steam renames.
We use public data with Steam name. You change your name, you will lose all your previous points on your name. Exceptions: we handle clan tags separately. As long as your tag is in the format of [TAG] at the beginning of your name, you can change clan or remove the tag with no impact.
How prizes are paid.
The finale pays $250 for 1st, $50 for 2nd, and $40 each for 3rd and 4th; every other finalist takes in-game support. Separately, the circuit's top four on the final standings take $20 each, and that stacks with any finale winnings. Amounts of $15 and under may be paid as in-game support; larger amounts at our discretion, most likely Steam gift cards.
Unregistered seats and no-shows
A seat still unregistered when registration closes is not held. It returns to the pool and is filled at random from the qualified players, so the bracket is always a full 32. A registered player who no-shows on the day is not replaced; that spot simply goes unused.
Ties.
Players tied on Circuit Points are separated by, in order: most 1st-place finishes, then most podiums, then best single finish. Anything still tied after that is ordered by name, and where a tie sits on a cutline that pays or qualifies, the tiebreak decides it.
Registration and all tournament news drop in the DeJENNerates Discord. Dates, brackets, rule updates, where you stand, it's all there. Join to stay current.
